WHERE TO START?

1. Create a league (3 minutes):

a. Click the Trophy icon in the bottom right (refer to graphic a.)

b. Click the Plus button in the top right (refer to graphic b.)

c. Select ‘New Tournament’

d. Fill out the tournament info, contacts, bracket style, rules, and location

e. Click ‘Continue’ once all info is inputted. Don’t worry, the info can be edited later

2. Invite Teams:

a. Click the 'Invite teams' button within the teams tab of the tournament

b. Select all the teams you would like to add to your tournament and send the invites. You can also invite teams that have yet to onboard to the app by clicking the, 'share' button in the top right section of the management view. Here, you can send an invite via link or QR code. You can then track progress as teams accept or decline your invitations. Additionally, you can make the remaining tournament spots open to the public from within the edit tournament flow. If you choose this option, team requests to join will require your approval.

3. Generate Schedule (With Pool Play):

a. Navigate to the 'Pool' tab and click 'Edit Pools' to edit number of pools and teams per pool. Hit 'save' after any edit.

b. Click the 'Generate Pool Schedule' button and schedule games for all pools. Click 'Save Schedule'. Note that the scheduling process can be started before all teams are included.

c. Once all pool games are scheduled and the tournament details are finalized, click 'Start Tournament'. (You will not be able to go back and edit tournament details after clicking this). The tournament schedule will will then be updated to each team's respective calendars. A message thread will also be created with the tournament admins, and all team admins participating in the tournament. Announcements can be sent to all followers of the tournament by pressing the three dots in the top right hand corner of the tournament summary tile. 

3. Generate Schedule (Without Pool Play):

a. Navigate to the 'Bracket' tab and click 'Change' to edit the seed order

b. Click the 'Generate Seeded Bracket' button and schedule all bracket games

c. Once all bracket games are scheduled and the tournament details are finalized, click 'Start Tournament'. (You will not be able to go back and edit tournament details after clicking this). The tournament schedule will will then be updated to each team's respective calendars. A message thread will also be created with the tournament admins, and all team admins participating in the tournament. Announcements can be sent to all followers of the tournament by pressing the three dots in the top right hand corner of the tournament summary tile. 

4. Manage Tournament

a. Edit game information before games if needed

b. Have team admins scorekeep games or have a tournament admin input scores. The reported score and stats from the home team will take precedence over the away team in order to avoid data duplication. A tournament admin must accept the outcome of the game before it is official. 

c. Once the tournament is complete, tournament details and stats will be saved!
